As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our consultant network with experienced Consultant Conveyancers who want flexibility, autonomy, and the backing of a respected firm.
The Role
As a Consultant Conveyancer at Gardner Champion, you will operate on a self-employed basis, managing your own residential conveyancing matters while benefiting from the firm’s established brand, compliance framework, systems, and support.
This role is ideal for experienced conveyancers who want to step away from traditional fee-earner targets and rigid structures, while still working within a highly regarded, collaborative firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- New build and shared ownership transactions (where applicable)
- Deliver clear, practical, and timely advice to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Maintain excellent standards of client care and communication.
- Ensure matters are progressed efficiently in line with regulatory and firm requirements.
- Comply with all relevant CQS, AML, and risk management procedures.
- Use Gardner Champion’s case management systems and administrative support effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, lenders, and other professionals.
About You
- A qualified and experienced Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or Solicitor specialising in residential conveyancing.
- Proven ability to handle conveyancing matters independently from instruction to completion.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent client-care skills.
- Commercially aware with a professional, solution-focused approach.
- Comfortable working autonomously while being part of a wider team.
