Our Commercial team is growing, and we are looking to recruit a Commercial Solicitor to support and develop our expanding business client base.
The Role
As a Commercial Solicitor, you will advise a varied portfolio of business clients on a wide range of commercial matters. You will work closely with colleagues across the firm, including Corporate, Employment, Property, and Dispute Resolution, providing practical, commercially focused advice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys autonomy, client contact, and playing a meaningful role in business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse caseload of commercial matters, including:
- Commercial contracts and agreements
- Terms & conditions and supplier/customer contracts
- Shareholder and partnership agreements
- Commercial advice to SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- Data protection and compliance advice (desirable, not essential)
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial documentation.
- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice tailored to clients’ objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to departmental growth.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.
About You
- A qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with experience in commercial law.
- Comfortable managing matters independently from instruction to completion.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercially astute with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Confident communicator with excellent client-care skills.
- Keen to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic commercial team.
